About Counterwide.

Counterwide sells, migrates and installs Shopify for independent retailers across Canada and the United States — through local reps who know independent retail.

What we do

Counterwide brings Shopify’s retail platform to independent shops. We help owners choose the right plan and hardware, manage the move off their old system with Shopify’s point of sale specialists, and install everything on the counter so the shop opens on the new system ready to trade.

Once the shop is live, day-to-day support comes from Shopify’s own support team, available around the clock — and the merchant’s rep is the person to talk to when they’re ready to add a location or grow.

How we work

LOCAL

Reps who live where their merchants trade.

Every Counterwide rep works their own region, so the person who sets a shop up knows the area and the shops in it.

INDEPENDENT RETAIL

Built for shops with a counter.

We focus on owner-operated retailers with one to ten locations — the shops that most need a person, not a help centre.

ONE PLATFORM

Shopify, end to end.

Point of sale, online store and the Shop app on one back office. We sell one platform and know it thoroughly.

Where we work

Counterwide is building rep teams across Canada and the United States, region by region. If you’re a shop owner and we’re not in your area yet, get in touch anyway — it helps us decide where to go next.
